SIDNEY — Four Sidney High School graduates have received scholarships through the Sidney City Schools Foundation, administered by the Community Foundation of Shelby County.

The awards were made through the Scott Barker Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Thomas E. Given Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The Scott Barker Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Brittany Hayslett, Jared Tangeman, and Alexander Willman.

Hayslett is the daughter of Christina and Chad Hayslett. She is studying finance at the Ohio State University.

Tangeman is a biology major at Miami University. He is the son of Daniela and Jerry Tangeman.

Willman attends the University of Cincinnati, where he seeks a biomedical biology degree. He is the son of Rhonda and Gordon Buchler.

The recipient of the Thomas E. Given Memorial Scholarship was Chloe Heins. She is the daughter of Lori and Paul Heins and is pursuing an English degree from the Ohio State University.
