SIDNEY — Christian Academy Schools will hold its graduation ceremony on Friday, May 27, 2016, at 7 p.m. in the school gymnasium. A reception will follow the commencement ceremony in the cafeteria.

The class valedictorian is Ethan Miller. The salutatorian is Ethan Young.

The class motto is “Emitte lucem et veritatem,” Latin for “Send out the light and truth.” The class color is gold. The class flower is the gladiolus, which symbolizes strength of character, faithfulness and honor. The class song is “Sweet Victory” by Trip Lee. The class flower is the daffodil.

The commencement speaker will be Chad Wilkinson, the operations manager, sales manager and the Morning Show host for WPKO and WBLL radio in Bellefontaine Ohio. Wilkinson has been involved in radio for 22 years and has advised the Ohio High Point Center and Riverside High School in implementing and advancing their radio programs. He is a member Of Gretna Brethren Church and has served his community in many capacities, he was the co-chair of the 2015 Logan County United Way fundraising drive and has served on that board for the past four years.
