Celebrating Ghana’s Founder’s Day

Emerson Elementary Principal Michael Epperly and student Nana Adjei-Frimpong celebrated Ghana’s national Founder’s Day holiday. Epperly is dressed in a shirt from Ghana. Monday, Sept. 21, marked Founder’s Day in Ghana, observed to mark the birthday of Ghana’s first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumuah and the founding fathers of Ghana. Adjei-Frimpong, a second-grader, is the son of Nana and Linda Adjei-Frimpong, of Sidney.
