Dr. Nancy Luce presents OSBA Honor Roll recognition to local companies.

SIDNEY — The Upper Valley Career Center Board of Education recently recognized Becker’s Electrical Supplies; Slagle Mechanical; and Kirk NationaLease, Sidney, for their continued support of the school district.

The companies were honored as part of the Ohio School Boards Association’s (OSBA) 2017 Business Honor Roll program which gives school districts a way to say “thanks” to local businesses for their valuable contributions to schools.

“These companies are valued, long-time supporters of Upper Valley Career Center,” said Dr. Nancy Luce, Superintendent. “Examples of their contributions include serving on advisory committees, hiring our graduates, sponsoring apprenticeships and providing early placement opportunities for seniors. Upper Valley Career Center students, board members, administrators and staff would like to express our sincere appreciation for all they do.”
