Versailles homecoming this weekend

VERSAILLES — “Night on the Boardwalk” is the theme of this year’s Versailles High School homecoming. The homecoming football game will be Friday, Sept. 25 vs. Minster at 7:30 p.m. The dance will be Saturday, Sept. 26, from 9 p.m. to midnight.

Homecoming queen candidates are Mariah Collins, Lexi Fleihman, Kristin Langston, Abbey Marshal and Lauren Monnin.

King candidates are Isaac Buschur, Adam Lyons, Kyle Marchal, Collin Peters and Mitchell Subler.

Class representatives are freshmen Melissa Gigandet and William Eversole; sophomores Danielle Winner and Kyle Jones; juniors Danielle Hesson and Jonathan Moorman; and seniors Courtney McEldowney and Mason DeMange.

All tickets for the homecoming dance are sold in advance and are not available at the door, school officials said. Doors open at 8 p.m., with the band playing from 8:30-11:30 p.m. Students will not be permitted to enter the dance after 9:30 p.m. unless prior approval was granted by the student council adviser or an administrator.
