BOTKINS — Last week, the Botkins FFA raised money to sponsor “Mark’s Toys for Tots Bike Drive.” The fundraiser’s purpose is to provide bicycles to underprivileged children in Western Ohio. Every $80 raised provided one bike to a child in need.
The Botkins FFA created jars to collect money from each class, and the class who raised the most money won a pizza party and movie. FFA members Nolan Greve and Micah Smock headed the fundraiser. The outcome was a huge success, with a total of $1,125 raised, which provided money for 14 bikes.
