SIDNEY — The Shelby County Retired Teachers Association will accept applications for its annual scholarship through May 1.

To be eligible, a student must be enrolled now in a college program in the field of education. The applicant cannot be an upcoming high school graduate. A $500 scholarship is available.

Applicants can get application forms from the guidance counselors at their former high schools.

The scholarship is sponsored by retired teachers from all Shelby County school systems. For information, call 492-3569.
