ANNA — The Anna Local Schools Board of Education held its regular meeting for March on Monday.

Joel Staudter, high school principal, reported on the successful production of “Fiddler on the Roof” involving approximately 100 students. Middle School Principal Cindy Endsley reviewed the successes of students in FCCLA, Power of the Pen and Science Olympiad competitions. Elementary Principal John Holtzapple highlighted grant recipients Kelly Staudter, Amber Schloss, Judy Eshleman and Jamie Borchers.

Treasurer Dennis Raberding, reviewed state funding both current and past amounts and methodologies.

Andy Bixler, superintendent, reviewed recommended policy updates from NEOLA. Additionally, the board set March 22, 2016 at 6 p.m. for a special board meeting.

In new business, the board adopted the policy manual updates as presented. Additionally, the board approved a settlement agreement with Reiter Dairy.

The next regular meeting of the Anna Local Schools Board of Education is set for Monday, April 11, 2016, at 6:30 p.m.
