Shelby County depicted on flag

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office recently received a wooden Shelby County flag from the Shelby County Woodcarvers Association. The flag contains 14 stars on the outside, which depict the 14 townships within Shelby County, eight stars on the inside, which depict the eight towns in Shelby County and one star in the center, which represents the city of Sidney. The flag is displayed in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office. Shown with the flag are, left to right, John Beyke, Don Hall, Jim Foster and Sheriff John Lenhart.
