Hardin-Houston board accepts several resignations

HOUSTON — The Hardin-Houston Board of Education accepted several resignations during it’s meeting Monday night.

They accepted the resignations, with regret, of Lisa Monnin, high school aide, and John Willoughby, varsity boys basketball coach. Due to retirement they accepted the resignations of Larry Wogaman, custodian, and Candy Ritter, elementary aide.

Also at the meeting they employed:

• Lisa Earl and Jack Earl as junior high girls track coaches for the 2015-2016 school year, contingent upon successful background checks, at a rate of $624.89 per person.

• Nate Fridley as high school golf coach for the 2016-2017 school year, at a rate of $1,593.46.

• Ryan Maier, Tina Mertz, and John Willoughby, as junior high sports event supervisors for the 2015-2016 school year, at a rate of $50 per event.

In addition the board approved all treasurer recommendations, the new physical educations credit option and the Food Service Fund spending plan.

They also approved the traditional early release for Wednesday, May 18, 2016, (last day of school); for 1 p.m. and Friday, May 13, 2016, as the last day for seniors.

The next regular board meeting will be Monday, April 18, 2016, at 7 p.m. in the Media Center.
