Sheriff’s log

TUESDAY

-7:51 a.m.: narcotics search. Deputies conducted a canine narcotics search at Jackson Center School.

SUNDAY

-11:48 p.m.: property damage accident. Deputies responded to the 19000 block of Botkins Road for an accident.

-11:10 a.m.: theft without consent. Melissa Hines, 5927 State Route 29 E, reported her brother-in-law had sent her a prepaid VISA card with a balance of more than $100. Hines said she never received the card in the mail, but a withdrawal had been made at a Sidney bank. Deputies are continuing their investigation into the alleged theft.

SATURDAY

-2:33 a.m.: traffic stop. Tjay Cantrill, 10982 Comanche Drive, was cited for having fictitious plates on his vehicle following a traffic stop on Schenk Road.

FRIDAY

-3:52 p.m.: house hit by bullet. Debra M. Hoelscher, 3564 Mason Road, Fort Loramie, reported there was a bullet hole in her house. She said if happened within the past week.

Accidents

Lauren Marie Brubaker, 16, of Sidney, was southbound on Dawson Road Friday at 6:37 p.m. when the vehicle went off the right side of the road. She overcorrected he vehicle and it went off the left side of the road into some trees and brush.

The vehicle sustained major damage and was towed from the scene.

Neither Brubaker nor the passenger in the vehicle, Melissa Lynn compton, 16, of Sidney, were injured.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-2:36 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Jackson Center Police responded to the 200 block of Robb Street.

-12:58 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to Agrana Fruits.

-10:21 a.m.: fire. Anna, Fort Loramie, Van Buren, and Minster Fire Departments, Deputies and Minster Life Squad responded to the 5000 block of Wells Road for a controlled burn getting out of control.

MONDAY

-7:55 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to Honda.

-2:22 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to the 15000 block of Sharp Road.

-8:42 a.m.: medical. Fort Loramie Rescue and police responded to the 4000 block of Mason Road.

SUNDAY

-3:09 p.m.: medical. Houston Rescue responded to the 3000 block of Chief Tarkee Court.
