-1:31 a.m.: drug abuse. Police arrested Ian Timmons, 18, 1706 Letitia Drive, for drug abuse.

MONDAY

-9:20 p.m.: probation violation. Police arrested Michael Kemme, 35, 2009 Michigan St. Room 332, on a warrant.

-12:05 p.m.: theft. Yvette Young, 46, 1462 E. Court St., reported that someone took her black dog.

-9:14 a.m.: theft. Timothy Sweetman, 33, of Piqua, reported someone broke out a window on his truck and stole a cell phone in the 800 block of Oak Avenue.

SUNDAY

-6:54 p.m.: theft. Dean Cobb, 57, 611 St. Marys Ave., reported an attempted theft from a motor vehicle at his residence.

-4:38 p.m.: assault. Police arrested Peter Stokes, 23, 227 N. West Ave., for assault.

-1:07 p.m.: misuse of credit card. Nancy McName, 71, 18820 Snider Road, Jackson Center, reported someone obtained her credit card number and used it at different locations.

-7:52 a.m.: warrant service. Police arrested Christopher Vale, 33, 502 N. Main Ave., on a warrant.

-4:18 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Brooke Montgomery, 18, of Piqua, on a bench warrant.

-2:18 a.m.: operating a vehicle under the influence. Police arrested Robert Turner, 39, 1348 Rutledge St., for OVI.

SATURDAY

-1:08 p.m.: criminal damaging. Chad Henry, 35, 1118 Amherst Drive, Apt. C, reported someone damaged the driver’s side door on his vehicle.

-12:22 p.m.: breaking and entering. Christa Branam, 44, 201 Bennett St., reported someone entered 1407 Riverbend Blvd., and stole a ladder.

-10:39 a.m.: theft. Sturm Construction, on Wapakoneta Avenue, reported the theft of a trailer, a weed eater, tools, gas cans, and a lighter.

-3 a.m.: disorderly conduct. Justin Williams, 35, of Piqua, was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 1100 block of Westwood Drive.

FRIDAY

-10:26 p.m.: discharging firearms. Dustin Byer, 29, 328 Grant St., reported he shot a cat inside the city limits.

-8:14 p.m.: cruelty to animals. Sherry Guinther, 39, 609 Chestnut Ave., reported her dogs were being mistreated.

-4:30 p.m.: unauthorized use of a vehicle. Crystal Leirer, 30, 824 Park St., Apt. C, reported someone paid for her car bill and took her car from the repair shop.

-3:01 p.m.: found property. A blue and orange mountain bike was found in the yard of 620 Fourth Ave., and placed in the police bike garage.

-1:24 p.m.: parole violation. Police arrested Joshua Elliston, 40, at large, for a parole violation.

-9:23 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Grant Hanlon, 30, 734 N. Main Ave., on a warrant.

-8:17 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Jason Berry, 37, of Wapakoneta, on a warrant.

Accidents

Jasmine DeLafuente, 40, 706 S. Ohio Ave., was cited for operation without reasonable control after an accident on Sunday.

DeLafuente was traveling northeast on Fair Road when she fell asleep and struck a parked car on the right side of the roadway, causing it to be pushed into another parked car.

She was transported to Wilson ER by Sidney EMS with non-incapacitating injuries.

• Christina Gvaerke, 17, of Russia, was cited for assured clear distance after an accident on Saturday at 7:38 a.m.

Gaerke was traveling eastbound on Michigan Street approaching the intersection for Interstate 75 Southbound when she failed to stop in time for a vehicle stopping in front of her, causing her to strike it in the rear.

The driver of the other vehicle was Kaden DeMarcus, 16, 420 S. Main Ave.

• Morgan Branscum, 22, of Russia, was cited for failure to control after an accident on Saturday at 8:13 a.m.

Branscum was traveling eastbound on state Route 47 when she lost control and hit a guardrail then went off the other side of the road, and her front passenger wheel dropped into a hole.

• Audrey Barhorst, 17, of Anna, was cited for failure to control after an accident on Saturday at 7:46 a.m.

Barhorst was traveling southbound onto Fourth Avenue from state Route 47 when she slid on the ice and struck a vehicle that was stopped at a red light northbound on Fourth Avenue.

The driver of the other vehicle was Aaron Rademachia, 38, of Troy.

• Crystal Wilson, 21, of New Bremen, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Thursday at 2:46 p.m.

Wilson was traveling eastbound on state Route 47 in the left lane when she struck a vehicle that was stopped in traffic heading eastbound on state Route 47 in the left lane. Wilson then fled the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle was Ryan Schutz, 36, of Russia. Wilson was transported to Wilson Health by Sidney EMS with non-incapacitating injuries. She was also charged with OVI and leaving the scene of an accident.

• Christopher Yates, 44, 414 Fifth Ave., was cited for failure to control after an accident on Thursday at 5:04 a.m.

Yates was traveling southbound on Fourth Avenue when he lost control and struck a guardrail.

Fire, rescue

MONDAY

-7:26 to 11:23 p.m.: Medics responded to three calls.

-7:09 p.m.: Crews responded to the 500 block of West North Street for a fire.

-12:11 a.m. to 2:52 p.m.: Medics responded to nine calls.

SUNDAY

-10:47 p.m.: Medics responded to the 600 block of Fair Road for an auto accident.

-10:23 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.: Medics responded to five calls.
