SHS teams place well at Tipp City

TIPP CITY — Sidney competed in the 12-team Tipp City Invitational track meet on Tuesday night, and did well, the girls placing second and the boys third.

The girls were led by senior Kaitlyn Davis, who was second in three events, including the 200 and 400 dashes, and the long jump.

The Sidney boys had two first-place finishes, both in the field events. Tyler Guyett won the shot put with a heave of 44-feet, 5-inches, and Jamie Wallis won the pole vault competition, clearing 12 feet.
