Library to close for week

SIDNEY — The Amos Memorial Public Library, 230 E. North St., will be closed Wednesday, April 27, through Wednesday, May 4.

It will reopen Thursday, May 5, at 11 a.m.

The closure is due to necessary work as construction continues on renovations and the expansion of the library.

Fines will be waived for materials that are scheduled to be returned to Amos Library in Sidney during that time.

Branch locations will be open normal hours during that period. The branch hours are Monday and Wednesday, 2 to 7 p.m.; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to noon; Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon. The branch libraries are closed on Thursdays and Sundays.
