Enterprise Center sets classes

CELINA — The Business Enterprise Center at Wright State University-Lake Campus in Celina has announced a series of noncredit classes to be offered in may to area business people.

“Excel for Business, Basic/Intermediate” will be taught by Carla Hirschfeld and meet May 16 and 18 from 5 to 8 p.m., in Dwyer Hall Room 192. “Excel for Business, Intermediate/Advanced” will meet in the same place, May 23 and 25 from 5 to 8 p.m. The class fee is $65 for one set of workshops, $125 for all four classes.

“The Art of Beer Appreciation” will cover three topics during three sessions. Participants can register for one, two or all three. The fee for each session is $25. Those who register for all three sessions will be charged $70. Wright1 card-holders can take the classes for $20 per session or $55 for all three. Classes will be in the Moeller Brew Barn in Maria Stein from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will include tastings; therefore, enrollment is limited to people 21 and older. Session A, “How Is Beer Made?,” will meet May 14. Session B, “How Is Beer Classified?,” will meet Aug. 13. Session C, “Distinguishing Beer Styles,” will meet Oct. 15.
