Fort Loramie FFA community service

FORT LORAMIE — On Sunday May 15, the Fort Loramie FFA chapter planted flowers around the shower houses at Lake Loramie State Park.

The flowers planted were left-over plants from the chapter greenhouse sales and were donated to the State Park out of appreciation for allowing the Fort Loramie FFA chapter to have a food stand at the annual Lake Festival.

“This was a great opportunity to get students out of the classroom, and into a community service project that will benefit not only the community but themselves as well,” Chapter FFA President, Ethan Broerman, said.

This is the first time the chapter has donated flowers to the Park but the chapter has intentions to continue to do so in the future.
