Minster Bank donates to scholarship fund

CELINA – For more than 50 years, the Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) has responded to the educational needs of residents in Auglaize, Darke, Mercer and Van Wert counties by providing the resources to allow residents access to college instruction. The foundation secured the funding to build and operate an institution of higher education. Since 1962, WOEF has remained strongly committed to the success of the Lake Campus.

Minster Bank, a long-time supporter of Wright State University-Lake Campus, contributed $1,000 to the Academic Excellence Scholarship (AES) Fund for the 2016/2017 academic year. The AES award was established in 1995 and is available to 22 regional high schools. The schools’ top student can claim this scholarship to attend class at the Lake Campus.

For nearly a century, Minster Bank has been helping individuals, families and businesses achieve their dreams by offering a variety of personal, business, and private wealth management services. As long-time friends of the university, Minster Bank has contributed and supported the WOEF scholarship programs Minster Bank is a proud supporter of our current RISE. SHINE. Fundraising campaign which will prepare knowledgeable employees in engineering, business, agriculture, and healthcare.
