Auxiliary awards scholarships

SIDNEY — The Wilson Health Auxiliary has announced the winners of its 2016 scholarships in the amount of $500 each.

They are Rudy Langenkamp, of Russia, Spencer Hina, of Sidney, and Emily Kohler, of Botkins.

Langenkamp, son of Marci and James Langenkamp, is a Russia High School graduate who will attend the Ohio State University to study nursing.

Spencer, son of Nichole and Mark Hina, is a Fairlawn High School graduate who will attend the Ohio State University Lima Campus to study psychology.

Kohler, daughter of Carolyn and Robert Kohler, is a graduate of Botkins High School. She graduated from the University of Toledo in 2015 and will return to study in the physician assistant program. She is employed by Wilson Health in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center.

Students were eligible to apply for the scholarships if they had graduated from a Shelby County high school and planned to study in a medical field.
