Double thoughts

Double thoughts:

1 — I am a Veteran served both Vietnam and Dessert Storm, and I can’t believe the things that is taking place in our country, and that is the national security that is falling apart, and that is the fault of the Clinton’s. We have gone the last eight years with a president that has sold our country to China and to terrorism, he has given billions of dollars to Iraq supporting ISIS and who is there with him? Hillary. I fought for this country and many of my friends have died for that freedom that you have. If Hillary gets in there you will not have that freedom. She will take more freedom from you just like Obama did. So please HELP keep that traitor out of office so that we can live in freedom that we so deserve.

2 — You could say that Board of Education and The Clinton Foundation is alike; they want you to believe they are in great need of money on this school levy. Each time they post it in the paper, the list keeps getting longer and longer of the repairs that need to be done. I went out and looked at some of the so called repairs, such as parking lots and side walks; looks good to me. Why would you go from gravel to mulch? That’s dumb. My source in the school system (which I will not name) tells me that the levy is a joke, and that that are still sitting on $19 million, plus. They don’t need the money. They want you to believe that they can’t use the money, for it is in a general fund. Having a general fund means you can use it for anything. Why do they wait till it’s too late to fix anything? Why not fix it when you notice it? Or don’t they know what “preventive maintenance is.” Like everyone else, I am on a fixed income and I am tired of paying all these taxes as a home owner. So I am asking that everyone make them spend the money they already have and fixed the so called repairs out of that $19 million-plus they have, and say no to the levy. I pray that it goes down again.

Thank you,

John Burnside
