To the editor:

Rather sad election process we are experiencing at the national level. Therefore, it is great to have local candidates that exemplify what public service is all about.

One of these is Shelby County treasurer, Linda Meininger. I have known Linda for over 50 years. She has impeccable character, an unparalleled work ethic, extensive first hand experience by working in the Treasurer’s office, then serving as treasurer.

She also provides truly outstanding customer service!

When you go to the polls Nov. 8, you my face some challenges in selecting candidates. The office of Shelby County treasurer isn’t one of them.

Linda Meininger may be the most competent, qualified candidate on the ballot. Please join me in voting for her.
