To the editor:

Former letters to the editor have covered Linda Meininger’s excellent qualifications to be re-elected as Shelby County treasurer. The former Shelby County Treasurer,Mary Ellen Allenbaugh, touted Linda’s 32 years of experience, the last 14 years as being the Shelby County treasurer. She also praises Linda’s qualities of experience, honesty, capability, intelligence and knowledge. Mary Ellen is certainly a most qualified and reliable source.

As a Sidney resident, I like that if I have a question about the Treasurer’s office, I know I can feel welcome to call Linda. I know she will help me in a knowledgeable and concerned way. She treats people in a respectful and caring way. This is important in dealing with the public since she has such experience in the various aspects in the Treasurer’s office. Linda has served us in her 32 years in an excellent manner. I am most confident she will continue this excellent service. She has a proven track record.

Please join me in voting for Linda Meininger for Shelby County treasurer on Nov. 8. Don’t forget to go vote!
