To the editor:

The selection of justices for the Ohio Supreme Court is a very important decision for voters. Pat DeWine and Pat Fischer believe in interpreting the Constitution rather than “legislating from the bench.” I believe we need such candidates committed to the constitution if we want to maintain our First and Second Amendment rights.

Another very important race for us is that of our representative for District One of the State School Board. Lilli Vitale believes that “parents and teachers know best.” We need such a representative if we want to maintain our religious and constitutional values.

I believe we have some excellent candidates on the ballot: Pat Dewine and Pat Fischer for Ohio Supreme Court and Lilli Vitale for State School Board. Let us not pass up this opportunity to elect them to office.
