Montrose releases top 100 middle-market companies in Ohio

COLUMBUS — The Montrose Group, an economic development firm based out of Columbus, Ohio, has released their list of the top 100 middle-market companies, and several of them have ties to the Shelby County and west-central Ohio region.

This directory represents companies in $10 million to $500 million revenue range who show positive growth that are producing high-wage jobs across the state of Ohio.

Local Companies that made the list include:

• Superior Aluminum Products, located in Russia. Superior Aluminum Products is an industry leader in the manufacturing of aluminum railings, columns, and fence for remodeling and new construction. Their continued growth can be attributed to a staff defined by longevity and excellence, with employees averaging over 18 years of experience.

• Continental Express Inc., located in Sidney, provides transportation and logistics services.

• Midmark Corp., located in Dayton, (with a location in Versailles) makes medical, dental and veterinary equipment.

• Industry Products Co., located in Piqua, makes die-cut, nonmetallic materials for acoustics, insulation, sealing applications and assemblies.

• Accubuilt is a specialty vehicle manufacturer, located in Lima, Ohio. The company is one of the largest manufacturers of funeral coaches in the United States. Its other vehicles include limousines, mobility vans and rapid delivery vehicles. Accubuilt builds its vehicles by modifying Cadillac DeVilles and Lincoln Town Cars at its plant in Lima. Its vehicles are marketed under the brand names of Sayers & Scovill, Superior, Eureka, Vartanian and Miller-Meteor. Accubuilt sells its vehicles through a network of automobile dealerships in the United States and Canada. The company was established in 1876 as S&S/Superior of Ohio.

• In operation for more than 100 years, Ineos Group is one of the leading chemical companies in the United States. Located in Lima, Ohio, the company manufactures petrochemicals, specialty chemicals and oil products. It also offers thermoplastic resin, chlorvinyl, sulphur, ethanol, nitric acid products, polymers, oxides, phenol, films and compounds. Moreover, the petrochemical company also provides polysterene, ethyl benzene and monomer. Its production network spans 60 manufacturing facilities in 13 countries throughout the world.
