WEDNESDAY

-4:48 p.m.: theft. Mindie Terry, 29, 2355 Collins Ave., Apt. G, reported the theft of $20 from a book bag at 2355 Collins Ave., Apt H.

-1:10 p.m.: grand jury indictment. Nicholas Harris, 28, Lockington, was arrested on a grand jury indictment.

Crashes

William Anderson, 57, 327 Enterprise Ave., was cited with failure to control after a one-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 6:53 a.m.

Anderson was traveling eastbound in the 900 block of state Route 47 when he spun out and struck a guardrail.

• No one was cited following a crash on Tuesday at 9:39 a.m.

John Kalivoda, 56, 18121 Herring Road, was backing-up a city owned salt truck from the south to the north in the alleyway behind 120 ½ Pomeroy Ave. when he struck the right side of a vehicle parked in the alley on the property of 120 ½ Pomeroy Ave.

The owner of the parked vehicle is Anthony Brown, 120 ½ Pomeroy Ave.

• No one was cited following a crash on Tuesday at 5:33 a.m.

Kellie Terry, 50, of Piqua, was turning from Main Street onto Lane Street when she slid on the icy road and struck the curb on the north side of Lane Street.

The collision caused possible damage to the steering components of the vehicle.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-5:32 a.m.: fire. Crews responded to a false fire alarm.

-5:08 to 6:53 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to two automobile crashes.

WEDNESDAY

-10:43 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to 1630 Ferguson Court on the report of a machine fire. The fire was out upon arrival.

-5:25 to 8:10 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to 246 Court St. on two reports of an open burn. The fire was not permitted according to a city ordinance.

-4:08 p.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to mile-marker 86 on Interstate 75 for a small vehicle fire. The fire was out upon arrival.

-7:07 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to five calls.
