Low Voltage buys Wapak Ave. site

SIDNEY — Low Voltage Solutions has purchased the building at 1611 N. Wapakoneta Ave. that, until last year, housed Tender Hearts Day Care.

According to Low Voltage Solutions President and Owner Scott Huffman, the sale was finalized in November. Plans call for the business to move from its current Main Avenue offices to the new location during the coming summer.

“We can offer our customers a better showroom experience (there),” he said. “We will have a lot larger showroom to display more audio, video and security systems for our customers.”

Huffman noted that Low Voltage Solutions will expand its retail operation at that time.

“We’ll have more product on hand to sell and be better equipped to sell things to customers if they walk in,” he said.

In anticipation of the move, the company recently increased its staff by 25 percent, adding two employees to the previous staff of eight.
