Fourth generation guides Brown Industrial

BOTKINS — Brown Industrial Inc. celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2016, and had another good year.

“We are a family owned business with the fourth generation now helping pave the way to its future. 2017 looks to be a strong year with substantial growth opportunities. Property was purchased adjacent to its current facility to bring the total footprint to over 10 1/2 acres, and over 140,000 square foot under roof,” said co-owner Craig Brown. His brother, Chris Brown, is the other co-owner.

His report continues:

The fabrication department of Brown Industrial is a regional leader in providing fabricated metal products for other local and regional manufacturers. This division utilizes state of the art equipment, and highly dedicated employees motivated to meet customer demands. For 2017 a powder coat booth and 10-foot by 10-foot by 25-foot oven, an upgraded shear, and a second waterjet, will be added to complement the five lasers, four CNC press brakes, and complete fabrication services already offered.

Brown Industrial is also the designer and manufacturer of WaBo Rendering and Recycling bodies and trailers. We continue to incorporate new products to its already extensive WaBo portfolio of Rendering and Recycling bodies and trailers. Our highly skilled employees manufacture bodies and semi-trailers that ship nationwide, and into Canada. Organic food waste continues to be a growing market with our WaBo line leading the way from an equipment standpoint. We were honored to have several of employees featured in a nationwide welder advertisement campaign in 2016. We custom build all of our WaBo bodies and semi-trailers, and always strive to exceed customer’s expectations.

We have over 90 full time employees who are the key to our success and are highly trained and driven to build the best products available backed by unmatched customer support. We look forward to continued growth in 2017 and beyond.
