SIDNEY — Sidney Middle School has started their T3 tutoring program for the third and fourth quarters of the school year. Open to all 5-8th grade Sidney Middle School students, T3 provides the opportunity for tutoring and homework help on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-3:30pm in Computer Lab 303.

This program is being offered to help students to finish the year strong. Students can bring homework, assignments they may have missed and need to catch up on, etc., or teachers can send them with tutorial materials. Two licensed teachers oversee each session. Sidney High School National Honor Society students have been invited to help as a way to earn their service hours.

Nearly a full month in, T3 has already seen great turnout.

“Most Tuesdays and Thursdays we have a minimum of 20 students taking part in T3,” says Sidney Middle School Principal Diane Voress. “And since it’s a long stretch between lunch and after school, we’ve been able to work with the Food Services Department to provide a snack and juice for the students who utilize T3.” T3 is open to all Sidney Middle School students. Transportation for students who stay for T3 is not provided; students must provide their own transportation home.
