SIDNEY — The Sidney High School competition cheer team attended a regional competition at Stivers High School on Feb. 5. They qualified for the State of Ohio cheer championship which was held on March 5 at OSU.

On Feb. 11, the team competed in the AmeriCheer Open National at the Columbus Convention Center. They were awarded the following honors: Division champions, Grand champions and High point champions.

They also received an “in bid” for the AmeriCheer international championship to be held March 18-19 in Orlando.

For a fundraiser to help pay for their trip, the girls are currently selling pies from the Pie Peddler. Each pie is $10.
