RUSSIA — Russia High School juniors and seniors will find that “The World Awaits” at their junior-senior prom, April 29.
That’s the theme of the event, which will begin with a promenade at 6:15 p.m., followed by a banquet in St. Remy Hall at 6:30 p.m. and a dance from 8 p.m. to midnight. The king and queen will be crowned at 7:45 p.m.
An after-prom event in the school will be from midnight to 1:30 a.m., April 30. It will feature prizes.
Candidates for prom queen are Audrey Gariety, daughter of Ann and Ken Gariety; Kelsey Magoto, daughter of Diane Magoto and Randy Magoto; Katie Swartz, daughter of Sherry and Jack Swartz; and Rachel York, daughter of Jill and Tim York.
Candidates for prom king are Dylan Cordonnier, son of Lori and Rob Cordonnier; Trenton Monnin, son of Kathy Monnin and Alex Monnin; Alex Seger, son of Shelly and Randy; and Cole Tebbe, son of Donna and Chris Tebbe.
