March 31, 1992

A Sidney woman, Margo Russell, is a member of the organizing committee and will participate in the Philadelphia Mint’s Bicentennial celebration Thursday. Mrs. Russell, editor emeritus of Coin World will take part in the commemoration of the congressional passage of the act to establish the United States Mint April 2, 1792.

R. Stanley Crosley is on the job as the new chief of the Sidney Fire Department. His work with the department has spanned nearly 15 years. “It’s a job that basically involves helping people”, he said. “I’ve enjoyed the work”. It has been very satisfying.”
