SIDNEY – A jury found a Sidney man guilty of drug trafficking following a daylong trial Tuesday in Shelby County Common Pleas Court.

Kenneth A. Henderson, 28, 315 Charles Ave., was found guilty on four counts of trafficking in drugs, particularly cocaine. One charge included a claim that Henderson had sold drugs in the presence of minor children.

He had been indicted on Sept. 22, 2016, in being accused of trafficking in December and January 2015-16. A jury trial in January was postponed until this week.

Henderson will be sentenced on May 15, but it will not be the end of his involvement with the local court.

He faces another criminal case that includes three counts of trafficking in drugs from March through June 2016. The transactions allegedly occurred near the vicinity of a school.

On March 13, Henderson pleaded not guilty during his arraignment. He was released on his own recognizance.
