JACKSON CENTER — A painting by Jackson Center artist Dan Knepper has been selected as a finalist in American Artist magazine’s 34th annual art competition.

“Mansfield Morning” was chosen from among more than 5,700 entries.

Another Knepper painting, “My Head in the Clouds,” will be reprinted in the September issue of American Art Collector magazine. And a third, “What’s in a Name?” took second-place honors in the Western Ohio Watercolor Society 2017 show, on exhibit now in the Springfield Museum of Art.
