BOTKINS — Botkins Local School homecoming activities will be held Friday, Jan 11.
The homecoming JV football game, versus Anna, will take place Friday at 6:30 p.m. Crowning of the king and queen is set for halftime.
The homecoming dance is scheduled for Saturday, Jan 12, from 5 to 7:45 p.m. for junior high students, and from 8:15 to 11 p.m. for high school students.
The theme for this year is “The Climb,” with a color scheme of rose gold and navy.
Attendants will include, juniors Nate Deitler, son of David and Joy Deitler, and Sarah VanBrocklin, daughter of Michael and Dena VanBrocklin; sophomores Alan Fullenkamp, son of Mark and Brenda Fullenkamp, and Jill Greve, and daughter of Connie and the late Joe Greve; and freshmen Adam Hall, son of Christy Hall and Brad Hall, and Ainsley Manger, daughter of Kellan and Stephanie Manger.
Junior high attendants will be Carter Pleiman, son of Jeremy and Lynn Pleiman, and Mallory Goubeaux, daughter of Mark and Diane Goubeaux.
Student Council representatives will be Tyler Swank, son of Craig and Corrie Swank, and Taira Greve, daughter of Earl and Terri Greve.
Crown bearers will be Jace Meyer, son of Josh and Jessica Meyer, and Marklin Ratermann, daughter of Andy and Ashleigh Ratermann.
Candidates for king include Evan Aufderhaar, son of Brad and Joy Aufderhaar; Spencer Heuker, son of Steve and Ginger Hueker; Logan Johnson, son of James and Marci Johnson; and Gage Zimpfer, son of Luke and Lisa Zimpfer.
Candidates for queen include Faith Cisco, daughter of Mark and Sherri Cisco; Mattison Davis, daughter of Harland and Jodie Cornell; Adriana Jutte, daughter of Rick and Stacey Jutte; and Abbey Wright, daughter of Gary and Nona Wright.
