Maplewood man indicted for alleged role in death

SIDNEY – A Maplewood man has been indicted for his alleged role in the traffic death of a Quincy man in December. Two others were charged with rape in separate cases by the Shelby County grand jury.

They were among 20 people handed down charges by the grand jury panel on Thursday, Aug. 6. They will be arraigned on Thursday, Aug. 13, in Shelby County Common Pleas Court.

Caleb A. Boberg, 19, Maplewood, was indicted for aggravated vehicle homicide, a third-degree felony.

Boberg was driving when a Quincy man was killed in a fatal two-vehicle crash Dec. 13 at the intersection of Lefevre Road and Tawawa-Maplewood Road, just south of Maplewood.

According to a press release from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, Timothy H. Robinson, 38, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation revealed a red 2010 Pontiac G6, driven by Boberg was traveling west on Lefevre Road, approaching the intersection of Tawawa-Maplewood Road, when he allegedly failed to stop for the posted stop sign and drove into the path of a Blue Suzuki Aerio SX, that was driven by Robinson, who was traveling south on Tawawa-Maplewood Road.

Robinson was ejected from the vehicle. Boberg was transported to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton via CareFlight.

Anthony Scott Hutton, 56, Piqua, was charged with five counts of rape, all first-degree felonies.

He is accused of having sexual activity with a female under the age of 13 between April 1 and June 11.

Jose Juventino Chajon-Palencia, 43, incarcerated, was charged with a single charge of rape, a first degree felony.

He is accused of having sexual relations with a female under the age of 13. The act allegedly occurred in May.

Elizabeth Kindell, 31, at large, was charged with tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, and possession of drugs and possessing criminal tools, both fifth-degree felonies.

She is accused of injecting Fentanyl into herself in the rear of a police cruiser to avoid detection.

Ashley M. Hickman, 31, Sidney, was charged with domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony. She supposedly cut the elbow and hand of a person whom she previously cohabitated with.

Online court records indicate she has a previous domestic violence conviction.

Jared P. Duckro, 28, incarcerated, is charged with trafficking in drugs, a second-degree felony, aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony, and possessing criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony.

A specification to the indictment call for the forfeiture of $1,310 in cash Duckro supposedly derived from illegal drug sales.

Other indictments include:

• Greg S. Murray, 43, Sidney, failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony.

• Carl David Boswell Jr., 29, Lima, Ohio, failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony.

• Albert Lee Taylor, 45, at large, two counts of trafficking in drugs, both fifth-degree felonies.

• Christian M. Manor, 26, Sidney, aggravated possession of drugs, possessing criminal tools and receiving stolen property, all fifth-degree felonies.

• Josey Rafferty, 35, Sidney, aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony, aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, possession of drugs, a fourth-degree felony, and two counts of possessing criminal tools, both fifth-degree felonies.

• Ethan Lewis, 19, at large, aggravated possession of drugs and possessing criminal tools, both fifth-degree felonies.

• Justin Dwyer, 37, at large, possession of drugs and possessing criminal tools, both fifth-degree felonies.

• Daniel Strunk, 36, Sidney, aggravated possession of drugs and possessing criminal tools, both fifth-degree felonies, and tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony.

• Matthew P. Stansell, 37, at large, theft, a fifth-degree felony.

• Dustin O. Adkins, 39, Dayton, theft, a fifth-degree felony.

• Lucas M. Fitzgerald, 29, incarcerated, assault, a fourth-degree felony.

• Zachary A. Harris, 23, Sidney, aggravated possession of drugs and possessing criminal tools, both fifth-degree felonies.

• Alan Stephens, 39, at large, failure to appear, a fourth-degree felony.

• Keith J. Lehman, 44, at large, failure to appear, a fourth-degree felony.
