CELINA — Laura Nieport, Business Data Analytics Manager at Celina Insurance Group, recently earned the Associate in Insurance Data Analytics (AIDA) designation.

The AIDA program is a specialized curriculum administered by The Institutes, an organization dedicated to providing accreditation and continuing education to insurance professionals. Nieport earned this recognition upon the successful completion of four courses.

“I decided to pursue this designation to expand my skill set and acquire more knowledge about the various techniques for analyzing big data,” she said. “The knowledge I gained through the coursework will help me and my team improve the strategic insights and observations we offer to support Celina’s operations.”

Nieport has worked for Celina for 16 years in various actuarial and business intelligence roles. She attended the University of Findlay.

“Data analysis is crucial to understanding current and future trends in risk management and insurance,” Cathy Bigham, Director of Actuarial and Compliance, said. “With her experience and education, Laura is well equipped to evaluate Celina’s future data opportunities.”

Celina Insurance Group is comprised of four mutual property and casualty insurance companies. The companies provide protection for autos, homes, businesses and farms through more than 500 independent agencies in five states. Founded in 1914 with headquarters in Celina, Ohio, the organization is committed to supporting its policyholders and communities.
