-3:39 p.m.: crash. Personnel responded to a crash with injuries in the area of Wapakoneta Avenue and Grace Place.

-3:40 p.m.: assault. Jackson Center Police responded to an assault in the 200 block of Jackson Street.

Crashes

No one was cited after deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on May 23 at 5:04 a.m.

James Kevin Tipton, 54, of Sidney, was traveling eastbound on Mason Road when a raccoon ran into the roadway causing him to slam on his brakes. Nathan Joseph Hess, 21, of Fort Loramie, was traveling behind him and rear-ended him.

• Mark L. Akridge, 46, of Dayton, was cited with operation without reasonable control after the State Highway Patrol responded to a one-vehicle crash on May 19 at 12:23 a.m.

Akridge was driving a semi-truck traveling southbound on Interstate 75 when he drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a guardrail and bridge concrete, causing him to overturn and land on the left side. The semi was towed by Elmer’s Towing and Akridge was taken by Anna EMS to Wilson Health with suspected minor injuries.
