Crashes
Joseph E. Evans, 74, of Piqua, was cited with starting and backing vehicles after a two-vehicle crash on Aug. 9 at 10:14 a.m.
Brian M. Marlow, 48, of Troy, was traveling northbound on North Main Avenue and stopped at a traffic light. Evans began to back out of a parking space and struck Marlow.
• Daniel Wade Bowman, 52, of Sidney, was cited with disobedience to traffic control devices after a two-vehicle crash on Aug. 3 at 3:31 p.m.
Bowman was traveling eastbound on West Russell Road approaching the intersection of St. Marys Avenue. Michael Paul Bynum, 30, of Sidney, was driving a semi-truck traveling southbound on St. Marys Avenue. Bynum attempted to turn right onto West Russell Road when Bowman ran the red light and struck Bynum.
The vehicle Bynum was driving was towed by Mantor’s Towing and Bowman’s vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing. Bowman was taken by Sidney EMS to Wilson Health with suspected minor injuries.
