ANNA – The Anna Village Council approved sending out Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program letters at a meeting on Oct. 10.

Up to three waves of letters will be sent out to residents to obtain income information used for the program. The first application will be for community revitalization for $750,000.

As stated in the parks and recreation report, pickleball courts are being evaluated and quotes for the work will be obtained to decide how to proceed with resurfacing. The current plan for the 2024 solar eclipse is to have 72 campsites at Anna Community Park with final details to come later.

Another council meeting was held on Oct. 24 and the next council meeting will be held on Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall’s council chambers.
