Firefighters from Jackson Center and Botkins respond to a manure pit fire on the 14500 block of Lochard Road at around 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 2. The fire was quickly extinguished. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office closed a section of Lochard Road for firefighters.
