Sidney City Schools presents ‘Beauty & the Beast’

SIDNEY — Sidney City Schools has announce its upcoming production of the timeless classic, “Beauty & the Beast.” With a cast and crew comprised of talented students from Sidney High and Middle Schools, audiences of all ages are promised an enchanting and unforgettable theatrical experience.

The production, set to grace the stage of Sidney High School’s auditorium on April 4-7, promises to transport audiences into the magical world of Belle, the Beast, and their unforgettable tale of love and redemption. Through creative costumes, captivating musical numbers, and dynamic performances, the cast and crew are dedicated to bringing this beloved story to life in a way that will captivate hearts and inspire imaginations.

Directed by Sandy Shipe, with choreography by Makayla Shipe and Molly McFarland, this production of “Beauty & the Beast” showcases the immense talent and dedication of Sidney City Schools’ performing arts program. From the iconic ballroom scene to the beloved characters such as Lumiere, Mrs. Potts, and Gaston, audiences can expect a spellbinding journey filled with laughter, romance, and unforgettable melodies.

Show times for the performances are Thursday, April 4, 7 p.m.; Friday, April 5, 7 p.m.; Saturday, April 6; and Sunday, April 7, 2 p.m.

All tickets are open seating (no reserved or assigned seating). All presale tickets are online only (pay with a card) and can be purchased by visiting https://bit.ly/SidneyBeautyBeastTix. All cash sales must be purchased at the door. Everyone ages 5 and over will need a ticket.

Presale ticket prices are $8 for students and seniors; and $10 for adults. Tickets at the door will be $12 each.
