Crashes

Charles T. Hodapp, 50, of Tipp City, was cited with starting and backing vehicles after a two-vehicle crash on April 11 at 5:15 p.m.

Hodapp was driving an Amazon van when he reversed into a private driveway off Second Avenue and struck a vehicle owned by Billy Ray Murphy, of Sidney.

• Randall S. Frazier, 60, of Sidney, was cited with disobedience to traffic control devices after a two-vehicle crash on April 11 at 12:39 p.m.

Frazier was stopped at a stop sign on Williams Street at the intersection of St. Marys Avenue. Charles Milton Hicks, 26, of Sidney, was traveling northbound on St. Marys Avenue. Frazier pulled onto St. Marys Avenue in front of Hicks, causing a collision. Frazier’s vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing and Hicks’s vehicle was towed by Mantor’s Towing.

• Josie Broaddrick, 24, of Sidney, was cited with right of way when turning left after a two-vehicle crash on April 10 at 8:29 p.m.

Broaddrick was traveling westbound on Michigan Street and Tyler Minx, 31, of Sidney, was traveling eastbound on Michigan Street. Broaddrick failed to yield and turned left onto Fourth Avenue at the same time Minx turned right onto Fourth Avenue, causing a collision.

• Corin Danielle Nagle, 35, of Jackson Center, was cited with operation without reasonable control after a two-vehicle crash on April 10 at 12:02 p.m.

Tonya F. Neimeyer, 51, of Minster, was parked on Williams Street. Nagle was driving a Sidney city vehicle traveling eastbound on Williams Street. She attempted to pull over in front of Neimeyer and side-swiped her.

• Zachary David Manson, 44, of Piqua, was cited with right of way when turning left after a two-vehicle crash on April 10 at 7:32 a.m.

Manson was traveling eastbound on Russell Road when he turned left onto Target Drive in front of Brandon W. Vestal, 40, of Sidney, who was traveling westbound on Russell Road, causing a collision. Manson’s vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing.

• Cindy S. Monnier, 66, of Maplewood, was cited with driving within lanes/continuous lines of traffic after a two-vehicle crash on April 9 at 6:52 p.m.

Monnier was traveling westbound on state Route 47 in the left lane and Linda Edwards, 58, of Sidney, was traveling in the same direction in the right lane. Monnier attempted to change lanes and struck Edwards.

• No one was cited after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on April 4 at 12:21 p.m.

Richard Trump, 78, of Covington, Kentucky, was traveling southbound on Interstate 75 when he fell asleep, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck the median cable barrier. The vehicle was towed by Elmer’s Towing.
