Crashes

No one was cited after the State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on April 16 at 7:45 a.m.

Rickey Wayne Hickman, 66, of Sidney, was traveling eastbound on state Route 29 and Julie Jeanne Willoughby, 53, of Sidney, was behind him. Hickman slowed to turn left into a private driveway when Willoughby attempted to pass on the left, causing her to strike Hickman. Willoughby then drove off the roadway and into a ditch. Hickman’s vehicle was towed by Elmer’s Towing and Willoughby’s vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing.

• Richard Andrew Kuck, 81, of New Knoxville, was cited with failure to control after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on April 14 at 5:11 p.m.

Kuck was traveling southbound on Hardin Wapakoneta Road when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.

• Michael James O’Leary, 20, of Sidney, was cited with failure to control after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on April 11 at 6:40 p.m.

O’Leary was traveling northbound on Brooklyn Avenue when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole. The vehicle was towed by Elmer’s Towing.

-2:52 p.m.: crash. Deputies responded to a property damage crash in the area of South Ohio Avenue and East Court Street.

-10:48 a.m.: crash. Deputies responded to a crash in the area of Kuther Road and Millcreek Road.

-5:56 p.m.: subject with gun. Personnel responded to someone with a gun at mile marker 103 on Interstate 75.
