Local painter’s work in film

JACKSON CENTER — A painting by Jackson Center artist Dan Knepper can be seen in a recently released Hollywood movie.

“Water under the Bridge” is exhibited in a store window in Amherst, Ohio, in “The Bronze,” which stars Melissa Rauch. Rauch is best known for playing Bernadette in “Big Bang Theory” on television. During several scenes of “The Bronze,” Knepper’s painting can be seen when characters stop in front of the store window.

Another Knepper painting, “Headed In,” will be featured in the January/February issue of Fine Art Connoisseur magazine as part of an article about Charleston, South Carolina galleries. The Atelier Gallery there represents Knepper.

The artist will be profiled at the end of this month in the online magazine, ArtFoodHome.
