PIQUA — Kelli and Zachariah Freeling, of Piqua, have announced the birth of a son, Everett William Freeling, born Feb. 8, 2016, at 9:15 p.m., in the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.

He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 20 1/4 inches long.

His maternal gandparents are Karen and Brian Gates, of Russia. His paternal grandparents are Susan and Bill Rutherford, of Houston, and Carlos Freeling, of Troy.

His great-grandparents are Virginia Young, of Sidney, and Ollie and Bill Jones, of Houston.

His mother is the former Kelli Gates.
