ANNA — Anna High School will celebrate prom 2016 on April 16 at The Oaks Club, Shelby Oaks.
The theme is “The Roaring 20’s” and the colors are black and gold. Arrival time is between 6 and 7 p.m., with dinner from 7 to 8 p.m. Anna Prom is being catered by The Spot. The dance will go from 8 to 11 p.m. Music will be provided by GoodTime DJ’s and Lange Photography will photograph the event.
The king and queen will be crowned at 10:30 p.m.
The candidates for king are Korash Assani, son of Behzad and the late Teresa Assani; Nathan Bulle, son of Mark and Tina Bulle; Robert Ehemann, son of Karl and Kathy Ehemann; Eric Heidemann, son of Bill and Sherri Heidemann; Carter Huelskamp, son of Chad and Tonya Huelskamp; and Kain Luthman, son of Alan and Kathy Luthman.
The candidates for queen are Sarah Bettinger, daughter of Keith and Angie Bettinger; Courtney Doseck, daughter of Kevin and Cathy Doseck; Chelsea Kerns, daughter of Tony Kerns and Angela Smith; Elizabeth Landis, daughter of Mark and Amy Landis; Paige Richard, daughter of Mike and Christina Richard; and Jennifer Robinson, daughter of Jon and Roseann Robinson.
After Prom will be held at Minster Bowling Alley from 11:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. and is $7 per person. After Prom is sponsored by the junior parents who are the chaperones. Prizes were donated from local businesses.
