NEW KNOXVILLE — Following an executive session, March 28, the New Knoxville Board of Education renewed a contract with Treasurer Cathy Doseck for five years.
During the regular session of the board meeting, school legislators approved a settlement agreement and release of claims with Reiter Dairy LLC. The dairy had miscalculated milk prices and over-charged a number of schools. New Knoxville was one of them. The board appointed Doseck as its representative to execute the agreement.
In other business, the board:
• Approved the purchase of three welders for the Tri Star welding program, which will replace three welders that are no longer reparable.
• Accepted donations in the amount of $6,714 by the Athletic Boosters for weight room paint and graphics and of $750 by Theresa and Chuck Owen, $500 of which will be allocated to publications and the yearbook and $250 of which will be allocated to the National Honor Society.
• Approved the employment of Karla Eilerman as spring play director, Becky Toetgerman as a substitute teacher and Alice Carpenter as substitute bus driver and substitute cafeteria aide.
• Approved nonrenewal of supplemental and stipend contracts for Cory Canan, Marna Katterheinrich, Terry Halko, Sharon Wittler, Mary Wiest, CJ Brown, Jim Niekamp, Stephanie Boyle Fledderjohann, Kim Wirwille, Cindy Rollins, Tori Hoelscher, Darla Miller, Linda Wolf, Tim Hegemier, Matt Gabel, Casey Phillips, Dwain Meckstroth, Jeff Henschen, Dennis Henschen, Josh Lisi, Tim Niekamp, Marcus Reineke, Ryan Lageman, Ron Reineke, Gregg Weadock, Kay Webb, Anna Jaynes, Jerry VanderHorst, Shelley Henschen, Scott Schroer, John Sailer, Karla Eilerman, Cory Canan, Donald Binkley, Samantha Fledderjohann, Marc Dyrness, Matt Stetler, Mickie Grothause, Olivia Bergman, Abby Bushman, Jerry VanderHorst, Janet Eshelman, Kathy Frankenberg, Pam Bergman, Jenny Heitkamp, Laura Watercutter, Janice Schumacher, Beth Shreve, Chris Schroer, Tawnya Brogan, Alice Carpenter, Judy Hoeslcher, Nick Topp, Logan Leffel, Tracy Luck, Tina Rohrbach, Olivia Spieles, Branden Puckett, Cassandra McGue, mandi Shroyer and John Dircksen.
