SIDNEY – Wilson Health awarded the Daisy Award for the first quarter of 2016 to Registered Nurse Mandy Inskeep.

The Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses is part of the Daisy Foundation’s program to recognize the efforts nurses make every day. It shows the appreciation of all that nurses do to make a difference in patients’ lives. Nominations can be made by patients, staff and visitors.

“Mandy has been a godsend to me on more than one medical situation,” said the patient who nominated Inskeep. “Mandy clearly explains the medical procedures I will be undergoing, helping to ease my mind and keep me as calm as possible. The medical care she provides is exceptional.”

Inskeep began her career at Wilson Health 18 years ago as a tech in the home health and hospice department. She joined the cath lab team at Wilson in 2013, where she works today. Inskeep graduated from Edison Community College in Piqua, with her associate’s degree in nursing.
