Meyer named teen for April


SIDNEY — The Sidney Noon Kiwanis Club has named Pauline Meyer its April, 2016 Teen of the Month.

Meyer is a senior at Jackson Center High School and ranks third in her class, with a grade point average of 3.8.

She is the daughter of Nancy and Tony Meyer. She has a brother, Alex, 20, and a sister, Cassie, 17.

Her academic activities, honors, and awards include being a member of National Honor Society and Academia Team. She was recognized as distinguished in ninth and 11th grades and will graduate with honors.

Among her extracurricular and community activities, Meyer is involved in volleyball, basketball, track and band. She is a member of student council, art club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She volunteers at Dorothy Love Retirement Community and is a DARE role model.
