Lehman Catholic High School taps 32 for NHS

SIDNEY— Lehman Catholic High School’s annual tapping ceremony for the National Honor Society was held recently on the campus.

To be eligible for membership consideration, students must have an 88 percent cumulative grade point average. Additionally, candidates must meet high standards of service, leadership, and character. Members of the sophomore, junior and senior classes were evaluated and selected by the faculty council of the chapter.

Leadership is based on the student’s participation in community or school activities, To meet the service requirement, the student must have been active in service projects in the school and community. Character is measured in terms of integrity, behavior, ethics, and cooperation with both students and faculty

This year 32 students are being considered for membership Those students tapped were Sarah Kramer, Joe Schemmel, Miriam Bezy, Ryan Goettemoeller, Mehak Kaur, Tyler Lachey, Kameron Lee, Maddy McFarland, Mary Deafenbaugh, Elias Bezy, Rachel Bosway, Kiera Burns, Mary Deafenbaugh, Sarah Gibson, Grace Monnin, Conor O’Leary, Grace Oldin, Brogan McIver, Sarah Gibson, Leah Peoples, Sam Ritze, Natalie Rocke, Skye Shi, Owen Smith, Caitlin Swallow, Griffin West, Ann Pannapara, Lauren Riley, Joe Ritze, Jacquie Schemmel, Maria Schmiesing, Mitchell Sollmann, Brieanna Werling, Grace Monnin, Conor O’Leary, Grace Olding and Ann Pannapara.
