It’s going to be a supercalifragilistic time at SHS

SIDNEY — Sidney High School will present “Mary Poppins” this weekend, March 30-April 2. This supercalifragilistic magical musical is full of fun and whimsy the whole family will enjoy.

Directed by John Young, the show stars Evan Burden as Bert, Chloe Whalen as Jane Banks, Anthony Kellner as Michael Banks, and Sara Gibson as the fantastical Mary Poppins.

Show times are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m.

The show also features the following cast members: Dylan Zerkle as George Banks, Lauren Heaton as Winifred Banks, Hailey New as Katie Nanna, Louis Hauff as Policeman, Kristen Strunk as Miss Lark, Colin Freistuhler as Admiral Boom and Park Keeper, Tristan Heffner as Mrs. Brill, Rodney Campbell as Robertson Ay and John Northbrook, Hannah Wiford as Neleus, Whitney Petty as Queen Victoria, A.J. Snyder as Bank Chairman, Veronique Raimann as Miss Smythe, Brandon White as Von Hussler, Jenna Rice as Bird Woman, Gabrielle Rice as Valentine, Emily Jones as Mrs. Corry, Kaniya Marcus as Fannie, Jenna Beremand as Annie, Delaney Wilson as Teddy Bear, Rachel Trudeau as Mr. Punch, Natalie Calhoun as Doll, and Ayaka Machimura as Miss Andres.

The chorus includes Jenna Allen, Elizabeth Allenbaugh, Jenna Beremand, Kristen Brunswick, Natalie Calhoun, Rodney Campbell, Alyssa Davis, Ashlyn Figuracion, Colin Freistuhler, Louis Hauff, Tristan Heffner, Grace Hoellrich, Nathan Johnson, Emily Jones, Ayaka Machimura, Kaniya Marcus, Grace Martin, Hailey New, Whitney Petty, Veronique Raimann, Gabrielle Rice, Jenna Rice, Fatoumata Sao, Evelyn Schwepe, AJ Snyder, Kristen Strunk, Rachel Trudeau, Brandon White, Hannah Wiford, Delaney Wilson and Emma Zerkle.

The stage crew, managed by Lacie Shaw, includes Gavin Miller, Ian Humphrey, Kiersten Sprague, Caleb Davis, Lexi Thompson, Taylor Carpenter, Kazlynn Douglas, Makayla Carr, Isi Winkelmann, Nathan Johnson, Luke Turkey and Logan Johnson.

Choreography for the show is by Laney Shaw.

Seniors involved in the show include Clare Barker, Ashely Borror, Kelsey Castle, Tristan Heffner, Ian Humphrey, Kylee Kleinhans, Logan Johnson, Alex Larger, Grace Martin, Harley Rose, Kathryn Saunders, Kristen Sprague, Kristen Strunk, Hannah Wiford, Brandon White, and Dylan Zerkle.

Reserved tickets are $12. Student/child/senior (non-reserved) tickets are $8. Adult (non-reserved) tickets are $10.

Students can purchase tickets at lunch time. The general public can purchase tickets at Sidney High School in the auditorium through Wednesday of this week from 5 to 9 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door as available.
